QTI 2.1 Minor Update Released

Following feedback from implementers the QTI Project team has updated the QTI specification with the publication of an addendum.  The addendum only corrects errors in the previously released documents; it doesn't introduce any new features.

Open Source QTI Projects Gather in Cambridge

The three open source projects currently being supported by JISC as part of their e-learning programme will be gathering on Monday 18th February in Cambridge, UK for a joint workshop, co-located with a meeting of the JISC CETIS Assessment SIG.

Mobile QTI

At the recent mlearn07 conference in Melbourne there was a presentation about extending the QTI m-Player, a solution for delivering QTI-based assessments over mobile devices.

Angel Support for QTI 2.1

According to the following press release, Angel Learning now support QTI 2.1.

"The ANGEL LMS assessment engine is built on the QTI 2.1 specification. Use of QTI 2.1 ensures support for advanced formative and summative assessment in ANGEL while providing full interoperability with a wide choice of complementary systems..."

QTI and Common Cartridge
